Oklahoma City Thunder star player Dennis Schröder recently added a $4.3 million LA mansion to his kitty. The purchase comes barely a few months after his team traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers in November 2020.

While any kind of change is usually assumed to be a time and effort taker, the team switch hasn’t affected Schröder much (at least it doesn’t look like it). In fact, it looks like the 27-year old is ready to tackle the challenge head-on, even taking the chaos a notch higher with this house-move on the horizon.

Let’s juice in on the details.

Over the years, the San Fernando Valley has been home to several Lakers members, including Derek Fisher and Nick Young. And now, with Dennis Schröder and his wife, Ellen Ziolo, moving in, the area is set to be in constant limelight.

Built-in 2017, the contemporary-style mansion first featured on the market in the summer of 2020 at $4.5 million. But even after constant efforts and patience, it couldn’t be sold at the time.

However, with 2021 arriving, things looked up for the property, and it finally found a buyer in the form of Dennis Schröder. As per records, Schröder paid a price of approximately $4.3 million for the house whose listing was managed by Kobi Costa of Compass.

Let’s take a peek inside

Set behind black walls and gates, the estate spreads over 8,400 sq. ft. and is safe from trespassing. It consists of two structures, namely the main house and the guest house.

The main building features six ensuite bedrooms, including a master bedroom with dual balconies, two walk-in closets, and a luxurious bathroom decorated with exotic wood and stone. It has a massive living-cum-dining space, which opens up to a large backyard with a swimming pool, an in-built spa, an outdoor kitchen, a covered loggia, and a gigantic basketball court.

Being an NBA star, the basketball court was a must for Schröder, and thankfully he found it in this house. The residence also features a cozy spot at the rooftop deck with an exclusive BBQ, sitting area, and mesmerizing views. What’s more, there’s also a two-story guest house with another ensuite bedroom, a kitchen, and a private home gym.

Schröder’s post-purchase reaction

Currently, Dennis is spending a blissful time with his family in his new LA home, but finding this house wasn’t as easy as adjusting with the Laker’s team. During a press conference in January 2021, Dennis announced that his house hunting had finally ended.

He revealed that before purchasing the mansion, he and his wife had to stay at Airbnb, and though it was fine, it wasn’t “home.” He concluded that he would move to the place within two or three weeks, and hopefully, then, things would be much better.
